Akshay Kumar is one of the leading actor in Bollywood. Akshay was always the first choice to do adventurous movies, where he often performed so many dangerous stunts and then eventually gained fame for his dramatic, romance and comedy performance. He has acted more then hundred Hindi movies.
Akshay Kumar is an active stage performer. He led the 'Heat 2006' world tour along with famous stars Saif Ali Khan, Preity Zinta, Sushmita Sen and Celina Jaitley. Akshay Kumar has been linked with several of his co-star actresses including Raveena Tandon, Shilpa Shetty and Priyanka Chopra.
Early family life.
Akshay Kumar was born on 9 September 1967 in Amritsar, Punjab to a Hindu Punjabi family. His father was a government employee. From a very young age, he was recognized as a performer, particularly as a dancer. Kumar was raised in Delhi's Chandni Chowk neighborhood before moving to Mumbai.
He completed his education at Don Bosco School and then Guru Nanak Khalsa College (King's Circle), while studying he participated in sports with Janpal Singh.
Career.
He studied martial arts in Bangkok and worked as a waiter. Then he came back to Mumbai, where he started teaching martial arts. As an instructor in martial artist, Rajiv Bhatia always dreamt of making it big in that field but when a student suggested that with his good looks and a good built, he should take up modeling, the anonymous Rajiv Bhatia began his journey as Akshay Kumar who then slowly but surely worked his way up to becoming one of the most talented stars of the industry.
Akshay entered the Bollywood in the year of 1991in Saugandh.next year he appeared in thriller movie Khiladi. In 1994, he performed in Main Khiladi Tu Anari and Mohra which were among the highest grossing films of the year.
Later that year, Yash Chopra offered him to the romantic film Yeh Dillagi which was also a success. He received well critics as well as appreciation for his performance in this film, where he played a romantic role which was different compared to his action roles. At the same time he would receive his first nominations for Best Actor award at the Filmfare and Star Screen ceremonies.
Akshaya Kumar starred in the comedy film "Hera Pheri" along with Paresh Rawal and Sunil Shetty, which was a big success at the box office. Since then he has starred in many comedy films like "Awara Paagal Deewana ", "Mujhse Shaadi Karogi" , "Garam Masala", "Phir Hera Pheri" and "Bhul Bhulaiya". Akshaya Kumar also played a negative character in the movie "Ajnabi", for which he won the Filmfare Best Villain award.
Kumar made his debut in the small screen in 2008 with the Channel Colors as the host of the successful Fear Factor â?? Khatron Ke Khiladi. In 2009, he hosted the second season, Fear Factor â?? Khatron Ke Khiladi Level 2.

Personal life
After dating actress Shilpa Shetty for a quite a few years, Akshay Kumar married actress and fashion designer Twinkle Khanna , the eldest daughter of actors Rajesh Khanna and  Dimple Kapadia in 2001.Akshay Kumar led the Heat 2006 World Tour, which also starred Saif Ali Khan, Preity Zinta, Sushmita Sen and Celina Jeitley.

F I R  was registered by the Vakola Police on April 2009 against Akshay Kumar and his wife Twinkle Khanna under I P C Section 294 of the for an act during the Lakme Fashion Week in which Khanna unbuttoned the jeans of  Akshay Kumar.
