Trisha is one of the leading actress in Kollywood and Tollywood. She is well known model also. She appeared in number of T V advertisement and videos. She was a brand ambassador for famous company including  Eva cosmetics, Medimix soap, Kumaran silks,Britannia, Cold Coffee, Kurl-on mattresses, Junior Horlicks and Lalitha Jewelers. She also starred in Falguni Pathak's music album Meri Chunar Ud Ud Jaye.

FILM CAREER.

Trisha started her career as Simran’s friend in Jodi. Before entering to film industry she appeared in television advertisement and video’s,also A R Rahman’s musical Enakku 20 Unakku 18.
Trisha’s first movie is Ameer’s Mounam Pesiyadhe alongside Surya,which became moderate success at the box office,and claiming the critics as “sparkling eyes and appealing demeanour”. She appeared as a cancer patient in her second movie Manasellam.
In 2003 she acted in Hari’s film Saamy opposite Vikram, became a mega hit movie at the box office.
In 2004 she appeared in Telugu movie Varsham, which become the highest grosser of the year. Later that year she acted in Tamil film Gilly.
In 2005 she played a major role in Prabhu Deva’s directed Telugu movie Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana,alongside Siddhartha Narayan,it was successful at the box office, and she received two awards for the same film which include the Film fare Award and Nandi Award.
Trisha acted with Siddhartha Narayan, Madhavan and Surya in ManiRatnam’s Aayutha Ezhuthu.at the same time she appeared in Ji Aathi and Aaru.
In 2006 she starred in Telugu film Pournami and Tamil film Something Something…Unnakum Ennakum.
She acted with Chiranjeevi in Telugu movie Stalin and Sainikudu alongside Mahesh Baabu. Another film was Aadavari Matalaku Ardhalu verule with actor Venkatesh.
She played in comedy film Kireedam with Ajith Kumar, it received good reviews and success.
In 2008 Trisha, appeared in Beema and Kuruvi,it flapped in box office. She acted with Ravi Teja in blockbuster movie Krishna.after that she appeared in Puri Jagannadh’s direction movie Bujjigaduwith prabhas. Her next release was Abhiyum Naanum,it become hit the box office.she starred in super hit movie King alongside AkkineniNagarjuna.
In 2009 she appeared in Sarvam with Arya. Later she acted in Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa with Silambarasan, it gain commercial success and positive reviews.
Trisha appeared in Telugu film Namo Venkatesa, with venkatesh in the year 2010.she also played in Hindi film Khatta Meetha,alongside Akshay Kumar.
Now she is acting in Manmadhan Ambu with Kamal Hassan and Madhavan.

Trisha born on may 4th 1983 in Chennai to a Tamil Hindu family. Her father name is Krishnan and mother is Uma Krishnan. She completed her education in M S E C collage and Sacred Heart Church Park School,Tamil Naadu. While studying in M S E C collage she was a part time model also.

In 2010 she was involved in a drug scandal controversy.
