Early family life.

Deepika born on 5 January 1986 in Copenhagen, Denmark. To a India family. But the Padukone family soon shifted to their base in Bangalore, Karnataka, where she stayed. Deepika is the daughter of former World badminton Champion Prakash Padukone

She completed her high school education in Sophia's High School, Bangalore and undergraduate studies in Mount Carmel College, Bangalore. Being the daughter of the best badminton player, she loved playing badminton. And she played at the state level and national level.

One of her friend's mother was a well-known model coordinator. She introduced her to the field of showbiz. At the early stages of her modeling.

MODELING AND FILM CAREER.

Deepika entered modeling in NLS Bangalore. Same time Deepika has modeled for Indian company like Liril, Limca, Close -Up toothpaste and Dabur Lal powder and cosmetics company Maybelline made her its international spokesperson.
She won the Model of the Year Award at the time of Kingfisher fifth annual.
