Tamanna completed her graduation through distance learning because she discontinued her collage when she was first year.

Tamanna started her career very early. She appeared Bollywood movie Chand Sa Roshan Chehra, in the age of 13.later that year she entered south India through Telugu film Sri, alongside Manoj Kumar.

Her recent film "Kalloori" was a moderate success at the box-office. She was appreciated by the audience for her simplistic and realistic portrayal of her appearance.

Her major Role in "Happy Days" in Telugu brought her great success in Tollywood. Her performance in the role as Madhu in "Happy Days" brought her critical acclaim.
