Shriya is one of the leading actress in Indian film industry. She well had known model and presenter also. Shriya has appeared south Indian film industry including Hindi and English. Early family Life.

Shriya Saran was born on Sep 11, 1982 in Dehradun to Hindu family. Her father Pushpendra Saran was a BHEL employee and mother Neeraja Saran was a chemistry teacher in Delhi Public School, Haridwar. She has one brother namely Ahiroop.
Shriya completed school days in Delhi Public School, Haridwar, and later she attends collage at Lady Shri Ram College in Delhi for her graduation.
*while studying she got training in Kathak dance under Shobha Narayan.

                                                       Career.

Shriya entered film industry through Telugu movie Ishtam in 2001. The movie was not a success at box-office, although industry noticed her performance.
In the year of 2002 she appeared in Santosham with Nagarjuna, which did extremely well. The other two films released the same year Nuvve Nuvve and Chennakeshava Reddy also successful at box office.
Shriya got the opportunity to perform with some of the famous stars and came out with several hits like Tagore (2003) and Chatrapati (2005).
Her Tamil movies including Ennaku 20 Unnaku 18 in 2003, Mazhai in 2005 were extremely well at the box office.
 In 2007, she appeared in Azhagiya Tamil Magan, which was moderated success later that year she was cast opposite Rajnikanth in Shivaji: The Boss, which was one of the highest grosser ever made in Indian film industry.
In 2009, she starred with Vikram in Tamil film Kanthaswamy, gaining her a nomination at the Vijay Awards, and her third award win, this time the Amrita Mathrubhumi Award for Best Actress in Tamil
She also appeared in Bollywood including Tujhe Meri Kasam (2003), Thoda Hum Badlo Thoda Tum (2004), Awaarapan (2007) and Mission Istanbul (2008).
Saran then made her Hollywood debut in Ashok Amritraj's The Other End of the Line alongside Jesse Metcalfe, Anupham Kher and Tara Sharma. She played the role of Priya Sethi who works as a telephone operator in an India Call Centre, Shriya's performance was praised by critic, particularly her on-screen chemistry with Jesse Metcalfe.
